Schoolhouse Bus Service
The Schoolhouse at Mutianyu operates a bus service as a courtesy to guests who would like to visit Mutianyu from Beijing. Every Saturday and Sunday except The Schoolhouse winter vacation guests are welcome to take the School Bus Day Trip to Mutianyu Great Wall.

There are dozens of restaurants, stalls, eateries that line the route to and from the Great Wall at Mutianyu, but what we offer here are some of the best, judged on their cleanliness, their menu, and their overall atmosphere. Fitting with our Great Wall theme, each restaurant has good access to the Wall, or a correspondingly good view. The Schoolhouse at Mutianyu Great Wall小 园Opened in a renovated schoolhouse, and part of a sustainable tourism effort, The Schoolhouse is staffed by local workers and has a charming atmosphere. The food is western homemade style based on fresh local ingredients. Menu items are sometimes simple, sometimes gourmet, but always great. Lunch, coffee, homemade ice cream, and a spectacular view make the Schoolhouse worth a visit. |

XinShuangQuan Restaurant鑫双泉度假村XinShuangQuan is a prime location for Chinese tours and large capacity dining. Food is Chinese 'Homestyle' with typical tourist fare, including Kung Pow Chicken, Sauteed Mushrooms, and Local Barbecue Fish. Built inside a large atrium, there are many plants, both real and fake, and comfortable chairs with plenty of local wait staff for service. Xinshuangquan is one of the few local restaurants open late. |

Xiaolongpu Restaurant晓龙瀑餐厅Xiaolongpu features a menu stocked full of dishes from around China, including Sichuan, Canton, Northeast, and even Beijing. Clean and well serviced, Xiaolongpu is a safe bet for a quick meal to or from Mutianyu. Prices are slightly higher than the surrounding restaurants, but are reflected in the cleanliness and variety. |
